I am there with ya, girlfriend! I am doing the lifestyle change as well. Since 2004, I have lost around 90lbs, and I really want to lose around 30 more. I am gonnna DO it!
I wish we lived closer...I need all the encouragement I can get! Let's DO THIS!!!!
3:27 AM
I will diet with you and help support you. I offically started this morning and was pleasantly surprised when I read your blog. I am detertmined! I am starting with low carb because I think I'm at an all time high for me. I'll do that for about 6 weeks and switch to Weight Watcher's which is more sensible. I lost 21 pounds on WW this time last year - from Oct to Feb. My advice: cut way down or eliminate pasta, bread and potatoes - it makes a huge difference. Best of luck - keep in touch with me and we'll share notes. WE CAN DO IT!

A year after my wife and I were married I tipped the scales at around the 300lb. mark. I did the lifestyle change thing and it's pretty much worked for me as these days I am around 215.
I give myself one day a week when I can eat whatever the fuck I want (within reason) and I think that's what made it easier for me.

I also take One-A-Day Weight Smart Vitamins with Green Tea Extract.
They are awesome! One thing though, you need to take them in the morning WITH breakfast...or they will make you nauseated. But girl, THEY ROCK!

I'll be rooting you on Hollz!
I'm firm believer in doing whatever you set your mind upon.
(as long as you can do it, without losing your mind!~~lol!)
Cheers! btw: Did you click the "Britney" web-site link, on my post. That Tiger transformation, was posted yesterday, for the first time! I don't know..kinda gave me the willies..but, hey, if she wants to be a Tiger~~I say, go for it! (whatever she put her mind....right!)

I'll be around to encourage you!! Good luck :)

I know for sure you need some vegies and more vegies! They are like free eating. AND if you are going to use an eliptical - always wear a bra - last year I bought one and I got my nipple stuck in the handle......

Story of my life. Best recommendations I can give:
1. Bring healthy snacks to work to curb cravings for candy.
2. Chew gum instead of snacking.
3. Don't give up if you have a bad day.
4. It's more about portion control than denying yourself.
5. Make sure you have a varied exercise routine lest you bore easily.
6. Don't expect drastic changes right away. It takes at least a month to see change.
7. Kick soda for flavored sparkling water - Zero Calories.
GOOD LUCK!!!
