Today is sad:(

Yesterday I was chatting with my father in law on msn, he mentioned to me that his cat mittens wasent doing so well.. I asked what was wrong and he said that Mittens wasent doing anything besides lying on the floor. Now being the animal lover that I am I offered to take him to the vet, I lived with this cat for 5 years so I did develop a love for him...
When I got to the house to pick him up i was shocked at the amount of weight that he had lost, I picked him up and wrapped him in a warm blanket and carried him out to my car.. He didn't move an inch he just cried a little, I knew something serious was wrong!
The doctor took his temp and said he was abnormally cold, she said that he was a very sick cat and she needed to do alot of tests to figure out what the problem was ($800.00 worth) He also needed to be transferred to the animal hospital over night so he could be monitored.. that was another $400.00.
We debated with Joes parents weather or not to spend the money. actually we argued is more like it.. Finally we got him to say ok and we hoped all would go well and the poor little guy would have a second chance:(
Mittens improved a little bit over night and we thought he would pull through but after we got the call saying that they did an ultrasound the tears started rolling...
Mittens has liver cancer!!!!
If we did keep him alive they said that he would be in pain and would have to go through kemo and it would be very expensive so the better thing to do would be to put him to sleep:(
so at 6;20 this evening we say goodbye to mittens...
I cant stop crying, this is so sad, I will miss this cat so much:(

RIP Mittens xoxox we love you little guy!

A few hourse later...... Ok its now 11;00 and Mittens is gone:( The vet was nice enough to give us a sympathy card with a piece of mittens hair and a paw print inside.. I had to come back and post the paw print its so cute but ,man did it ever make the situation sadder...
